This eye catching statement necklace, a customer favorite, is uniquely made by artisans in India from recycled Kantha textiles. Kantha fabric made from recycled saris iswrapped around wooden beads, accented with geometric bunting to create a unique sunburst shape.
Because Kantha fabric uses layers of sari, Kantha quilts are unique reflections of the individuality of their makers. Saris are also considered to be one of the oldest types of garment, worn in India for over 5,000 years.
Allow this necklace to standout as a statement of the beauty of human diversity, and the power of the creative spirit to transform raw material into joyful art.
